About

Welcome to Core, an independent guide to Core Wallet, the Avalanche wallet built by Ava Labs. We write plain English tutorials that help people install Core, set it up safely, and understand what it can and can't do.

Please note: Core Wallet is not the official Core Wallet website. We aren't owned by, run by, or partnered with Ava Labs or the Avalanche Foundation.

Why We Started This Site

Core packs a lot into one wallet. It covers Avalanche's three chains, Bitcoin and Ethereum, plus a bridge, swaps, staking and hardware wallet support. That's useful, but it can be a lot to take in when you're new to crypto. Small mistakes, like sending on the wrong network or saving a recovery phrase in a screenshot, can cost real money.

We built this site to explain those things clearly before they become problems. Our guides walk you through each step the way a friend who's already used the wallet would.
